Historical Succession Events
Under the terms of the March 2009 Supplement, the July 2009 Supplement and the Big Bang and Small Bang Protocol(s), a 90-day look back for Succession Events came into effect, as of June 20, 2009, for protocol covered transactions under the Big Bang and/or Small Bang Protocol(s). On June 19, 2009, ISDA published a list of notices of potential Succession Events submitted by adherents to the Big Bang and Small Bang Protocol(s) under the DC Rules applicable at that time. This was to ensure that events that occurred more than 90 days prior to June 20 could be preserved and could still be resolved to have been a Succession Event if included on the list of notices submitted to and published by ISDA and if the applicable facts met the definition of Succession Event, ignoring the 90 day look back.
