Event Publicly Available Information:
On 1 April, the Dow Chemical Company completed its acquisition of The Rohm and Hass Company. In conjunction with the acquisition, DOW executed a guarantee of the ROH 6s due 2017 (see link below). We would like the DC to determine whether the guarantee is a Qualifying Affiliate Guarantee under the 2003 ISDA Credit Derivatives Definitions.
