In its latest 10-Q, Kinder Morgan Inc. (KMI) reported that due to a series of internal restructurings that took place around June 30, 2014, (i) the Reference Entity merged into KMI and (ii) KMI became the successor to debt obligations issued by the Reference Entity--see footnote (b) in the 10-Q.
